Since TDL is specific to Tally the extent of TDL is limited to a certain extend to tally characteristics.

Once the extend of customization is specified the TDL code is written and compiled using Tally Developer to specific Tally Serial Nos this (.tcp compiled encrypted file) file should be copied to a specific folder in the machine where the tally has been installed and should be mentioned in the tally configuration file
